Senior Radar Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Alethos is designing its own radar sensor for autonomous systems. We're an early-stage team — two founders in Munich, hiring our first engineers right now. Your chance to be one of the first on board.
The Role
You are our hardware lead for radar. You own PCB design, antenna design and component selection for the sensor — and in time, you'll lead 1–2 juniors. You make technical decisions and stand behind them.
What you'll do
- Radar PCB design: layout, component selection, RF optimization
- Antenna development (technology agnostic — you bring the know-how that fits)
- Systems-engineering view on the sensor as a whole (HW, SW, interfaces)
- Design for Manufacturing from day one
- Supplier contact and occasional customer contact
- Technical leadership for 1–2 junior engineers
What you bring
- Several years of experience in EE / RF with real radar references
- PCB design and radar antennas shipped in practice
- Ideally you've taken a product toward industrialization at least once
- Familiarity with different radar architectures and modulation schemes
- Fluent German or English
