DSP / Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Build the next generation of defense sensors with us.
At Alethos we squeeze every dB of detection range and resolution out of radar hardware. We're an early-stage team — two founders in Munich, hiring our first engineers right now. Your chance to be one of the first on board.
The Role
You work on the heart of our sensor: the DSP chain. From eval-board bring-up to performance-optimized implementation on target hardware — you extract what's physically in there.
What you'll do
- Implement and optimize DSP algorithms for radar
- Write embedded C++ on eval boards and later on SoC target platforms
- Work close to the metal: registers, memory, debugging with logic analyzer
- Push against the physical limits with creative approaches
What you bring
- TU-level degree in EE, CS, control engineering, physics or similar
- Solid C++ skills, ideally embedded
- Signal processing or control-theory fundamentals — radar know-how is a plus
- No fear of eval boards or hardware
- Fluent English
Why you'll fit
You'd rather structure an open problem than tick off the 100th feature card. You pull work, not receive it. You work independently but not in isolation — ownership with an open door. You're the person who isn't satisfied when it works — only when it works better than the competition.
